ANSWERS:
Simple, each antenna that we sell is carefully disassembled and optimized by hand for peak predictable performance using special test and tuning techniques that we acquired over 50 years ago from a Senior RF Antenna Engineer.
Our recipe starts by using a high quality antenna that uses a copper clad internal element and NOT a Chinese Junk Look-a-Like copy that all use a red color bottom insulator.
Obtaining RF resonance with a high Q or Quality factor for peak performance is the key, along with a low VSWR over a defined frequency range, silver soldering all reworked RF connections, eliminate all of the unused unneeded space inside the antenna for a visibly shorter height, use NIST lab grade RF test equipment, and having a true valid test setup that completely duplicates the actual operating conditions that occur on a portable.
No laws of physics are being broken with our short stubby antenna.
They are just enhanced to their maximum limits with the proper test equipment.
We have employees that use our stubby antennas on their own personal portables with great performance without a loss of range as compared to other Known-brand OEM whip or short stubby helical antennas.
A tuned resonant antenna will always outperform any same size or larger non-resonant untuned antenna from any OEM or aftermarket source.
We have purchased, dissected, tested and duplicated the fact that most unknown poor quality, aftermarket, Chinese, non-resonant, or untuned antennas will actually absorb or reflect most of the RF power just like a dummy load, while drawing excessive current from the portable radio battery.
Our tuned antennas allow the portable radio transmitter to draw less current during transmit with the same or a higher RF output level with an added bonus of longer portable radio battery run time capacity.
Proper tuning of an antenna takes time and China does not take the time to do things right with the associated labor cost since their goal is only pure profit and not quality.
Seems like everybody else nowadays wants to cut corners and sacrifice quality.

antenna is not made to work in the Vhf 140-174 MHz, UHF 380-512 MHz, 764-806 MHz, and 806-869 MHz frequency ranges.
Just because the antenna fits and looks great on your radio does not mean that it will work properly.
Matching the antenna tuned frequency range to your radio frequencies is extremely important.
Our portable antennas are tested and tuned with a special micro-sized RF bridge located at the antenna connection inside the portable radio chassis.
The metal chassis of the portable radio is required for the antenna ground reference/ground plane also known as the other half of the portable radio antenna system.
If our portable antenna is tested with random external RF cables, RF adapters, external meters, and without the portable radio chassis, your readings will be completely incorrect and show resonance somewhere other than where it was actually tuned for.
For VSWR accuracy the antenna needs to be tuned in the same location as where it will normally operate

Priority mail does tend to get to you faster; HOWEVER, it too can take an extra few days to receive your package than is expected.
If your package is not delivered in a timely manner per USPS we have to wait until after the expected delivery date of your package to 1st complete an online Help Request form before we can start a Missing Mail Search Request. If after 7 business days from when we submit the Help Request Form your package still has not arrived, we can then submit the Missing Mail Search Request.

RETURN POLICY:

Also any malfunctions or damage caused by failing to follow directions will not be covered.
Warranty is for the original purchaser only and cannot be reassigned.
The warranty date starts on the auction close date and any repaired or replacement items issued under warranty will be covered only for the original warranty period.
The returned item will be inspected and retested for all specifications.
If the item is found to be defective in materials and/or workmanship, we will repair or replace the item at our discretion. The item will be returned to you at no cost.
Any returned item found not to be defective and in good condition, will be shipped back to the buyer after we receive a payment from the buyer for all return shipment costs. Our return shipping will include shipping insurance and tracking.
