antenna is used for Police, Fire, Rescue, and Public Safety Trunked/Conventional radio systems.  Our antenna will cover all of the 700/800 frequencies as published in the Homeland Security “National Interop Field Operations Guide” (NIFOG book), FEMA interop radio channels, and all Statewide Radio Systems rebanded (courtesy of Nextel) into the
700 MHz
frequency ranges.
All standard known-brand OEM and aftermarket antennas are mass produced with non-certified “GE” (good enough) or “So-So” performance somewhere in the
600 to 900 MHz
frequency ranges.

Our tests include the antenna checked in three positions; on a portable held in hand in front of the user’s mouth, on a portable using a belt clip on the hip, and on a public safety speaker microphone located on the users shoulder.
All three tests must pass for the antenna to be released for sale.  If you are using a remote speaker mic the coiled cord will need to be kept away from the antenna area for maximum performance.
This custom tuned
V07+
antenna will be approximately 2.8 inches tall +/- 0.25 inches as measured from the bottom of the weather skirt to the top cap of the antenna.
The antenna covering is made of black flexible PVC and has a bottom weather skirt to protect the RF connection on the radio housing. All reworked internal antenna connections are silver soldered.
The retuning of our antenna achieves a signal gain that will effectively increase your transmit and receive signal power due to the very low VSWR and excellent 50 ohm impedance match as compared to ANY untuned antenna.
Our retuning also allows for a much smaller antenna height without any loss of performance and by eliminating all of the unused open space inside the antenna.
Our antenna meets all of the following criteria:
Must be a new known-brand quality antenna and NOT a Cheap Junk or Aftermarket “Look-a-Like” Clone Copy from China that all seem to use a red color insulator in the SMA connector.
Be as short as physically possible for a low profile with great communications range.
Must be professional looking on the portable radio or if used on a public safety speaker microphone.
Exhibit an excellent resonance over the
769 - 805
and
800 MHz
frequency ranges.
Use a special female SMA connector to properly fit the portable radios and the public safety speaker microphone models as listed above.
Must maintain all specifications over the temperature range of -10 to +120 degrees Fahrenheit.

It is a fact that the most important part of any radio communications is the antenna system.
The antenna is the device on a radio that converts RF power into radio waves during transmit and radio waves into RF power on receive.
All transmitted and received signals must pass through the antenna system for any radio to work.
A respected radio engineer once said, “If you had 100 dollars, invest 99 dollars in the antenna system and 1 dollar in the radio and you will always have great communications”.
After many years of our own experience we have found that this statement to be true especially for today’s FM narrowband radio communications. We have witnessed portable radios worth thousands of dollars using cheap OEM antennas get beat out performance wise by users with radios one forth the cost using our fine-tuned antennas.
VSWR is the efficiency measurement ratio of RF power that is being converted into radio waves by the antenna system as compared to the RF power that is not converted and reflected back into the radio as wasted energy.
A VSWR of 1.5:1 has been and still is the customary maximum upper limit used in professional land mobile radio communications to determine a good efficient transfer of RF power.
Any VSWR above 2:1 is definitely BAD for the performance and the long term health of the radio RF power output amplifier.
Sadly many companies that manufacture products in China now use a VSWR of 2:1 as their good reference point to market their poor quality products and make them appear to be way better than what they actually are.
This tuned antenna is
NOT
made to operate at all in the Vhf 140-174 MHz, UHF 380-512 MHz, or 896-941 MHz
radio bands even though it may fit.
Matching the antenna frequency tuning to the programmed operating frequencies in your portable radio is extremely important.

Per USPS their staffing is greatly reduced in many areas across the country due to the pandemic which is causing some long unpredictable delays. Most packages have arrived in a timely manner to our customers; HOWEVER, some 1st class packages can take 2-3 weeks to be delivered.
Priority mail does tend to get to you faster; HOWEVER, it too can take an extra few days to receive your package than is expected.
If your package is not delivered in a timely manner per USPS we have to wait until after the expected delivery date of your package to 1st complete an online Help Request form before we can start a Missing Mail Search Request. If after 7 business days from when we submit the Help Request Form your package still has not arrived, we can then submit the Missing Mail Search Request.
You need to be patient with your package delivery time frame.

RETURN POLICY:

Also any malfunctions or damage caused by failing to follow directions will not be covered.
Warranty is for the original purchaser only and cannot be reassigned.
The warranty date starts on the auction close date and any repaired or replacement items issued under warranty will be covered only for the original warranty period.
The returned item will be inspected and retested for all specifications.
If the item is found to be defective in materials and/or workmanship, we will repair or replace the item at our discretion. The item will be returned to you at no cost.
Any returned item found not to be defective and in good condition, will be shipped back to the buyer after we receive a payment from the buyer for all return shipment costs. Our return shipping will include shipping insurance and tracking.
